A Message from the Maker
At the age of 18 I got my start as a street performer doing magic shows on the harsh and unforgiving streets of Adelaide, Australia. I spent the next 7 years of my life travelling and performing around the world. I would travel minimally, a show in one, possessions in the other often going years rarely being in one place for more than a month or a few weeks at a time.
I was fortunate enough through these travels to be taught leather work by another performer.
Street performers are a funny bunch. My self and many of my peers rely solely on a few very unique props to make out living. A 10-foot unicycle to ride, a sword to swallow or even just a pack of cards. Without these really we weren't much more than human sized paper weights and all of us knew it. We understand the importance of having gear and equipment that just works.
I love seeing what other performers equipment looked like. Their equipment often looked like it could tell a story as good as the performer that uses it. Each item would really develop its own identity.
My goal it to create products with an identity that is as unique as you are. Goods which you can tell a story about and will last for years to come.
